Population fall in Florida

Florida in the US has seen some impressive growth over the last twenty odd years, its fine weather and increasing tourism had made this US State a popular destination for people to go on holiday and indeed in a lot cases either retire or relocate to. But there has been a change around recently and the once popular State is now suffering.

The last time there was a downturn like this was way back in the 1970’s this was the time of the last real recession. These conditions appear to be retuning and it has been noted that the population of the State is falling, already it stands at thirty year low and there are no signs of improvement.

What this is going to mean for property hunters is that there will be an abundance of property going on sale as people attempt to move away, this will drive down prices and allow anyone thinking of moving out there to pick up a great bargain. However when the exact right time to buy is anyone’s guess and some experts feel that this may be a short term problem.
