Couple sues Google on privacy

This one has been coming for sometime and could be the start of many complaints from around the world. A couple from Pennsylvania in the States who are suing internet giant Google over images that have been taken of the house, this data is used for publishing street view images and details of property.

Google have been using vehicles with digital cameras mounted on them to take images at street level to give internet users a street level view of any street or road that has been mapped. Which in itself is a good idea; however there are several privacy issues and it is this that concerns the couple.

The couple are stating that their home is at the end of a long driveway which is clearly marked “Private Road” how this case goes could effect many other peoples decisions on whether or not Google are ok to go around taking images of other peoples property and posting it on the internet for all to find.
