Property Portals put off agents and developers

Potential buyers of an overseas property may be losing out on some good deals when they visit an over seas property portal, this is because there are many foreign estate agents and property developers who do not use the property portals.

The main reason for this is that they find the portals too time consuming or in some cases too difficult to enter in all of the property details. In a survey conducted by Global Edge found that around ninety one per cent of agents and developers fail to place their properties on these websites.

This just goes to show that there is a huge amount of overseas properties that is being overlooked by UK buyers, simply because they do not know that the properties actually exist. This is entirely different to the UK market, where many agents regularly place their properties on portal type sites.
