No takers for free land

The promises of free land have encouraged people to travel across oceans before, but when a run down area in northern Japan decided that the only way that there town would survive is to drawn new people in, there was only one thing that they could offer.

So the signs have been displayed and the offer is free land to anyone who wants to build on it, and no doubt there would not be many objections to the type of property that the new landowner would be building there either.

However unlike the Americas and the wild west a couple of hundred years later, there are no convoys trucks heading for the area, in fact there are no buildings at being erected, there are some takers though. The markings have been put down and a sign states that the land has been claimed.
