Mexicans to claim land in Texas
No, this is not a call to arms, or an attempt by the people of Mexico to retake parts of Texas, although to some people who live in the lone star state, could be thinking that an invasion is on the cards. But it is rather a call to the wealthy Mexicans to get onto the US property ladder.
As the credit crunch takes it toll on the American markets, there is a need to find investors from somewhere else and as the Peso is very strong against the Dollar, it is a natural place for real estate agents to search for their new clients.
It was in 1845 when Texas become part of the US, nine years after the famous Battle of the Alamo when Texas gained their independence from Mexico. Now it would seem that Texans are going back to Mexico as they seem the only hope to bolster the falling property there.
