Apart from buying a property and tidying it up, is there much more you can do that will improve the value of the property? Well yes there is, we all know of some home improvements that can add value or do they?
How can you be sure that the home improvement is the right one for the house? And which one will add value to the property immediately?
The top five home improvements that will add value to a property are:
Converting loft space
Adding an extension
New kitchen or bathroom
Replacement windows
Heating
Any one of these will increase the value, but you need to make sure that the cost is not any more than the added value; otherwise it will result in a loss.
