Eco Friendly building materials

As the world cries out for more eco friendly building materials there is an effort from a wide range of people, businesses and organisations to come up with viable solutions that on the one hand provides the consumer with a product that is either recycled or reused and on the other hand a product that conforms to all of the regulations for building and safety.

The University of Leeds are working a on a solution that will meet the requirements of the consumer and the regulations, this product is named Bitublock and is made from two different types of Bitumen and waste materials which include, glass, fuel ash, sewage ash and steel slag.

These blocks are very comparable to the blocks that are be used in the construction industry in the UK at present, so the next step would be produce this product in workable quantities which are priced in line with the other products on the market.
