The first hydrogen powered house

Building eco friendly homes is going to be the next big thing, and in the States a civil engineer has actually built a home that runs completely off its own home made energy.

The house has been fitted out with solar panels, hydrogen fuel cells, storage tanks and an electrolyser. This means that the house will be able to electricity into hydrogen.

When the sun is out fully this house will produce enough electricity to power everything in the house and with some left over, which is what is used to produce the hydrogen. With all of this in full working order, the house will have no bills for any power at all.
