Some London commuters live in Lille

It seems that some lucky commuters are taking advantage of the new high speed rail link between France and England, with journey times comparable to that of the average commute, living in France and working in London is now a real possibility.

The favourite destination for the Anglo French commuter is the city of Lille, it’s just eighty minutes from London and is only sixty minutes away from Paris making the area very popular with British ex-pats.

For those who wish the laid back lifestyle but as with many people need to earn a living too, France is a great place to live, with property prices being lower than the UK this area in northern France is going to see a large influx of Brits and with this the property prices are bound to rise, making it a super investment too.
