Property boom on the Moon

The world property market is struggling at the moment, granted that there are some places that are bucking the trend, there always is but these are few and far between. However there are some places that are literally out of the world!

The price of an acre of land on the Moon is defying gravity this year by actually increasing by around forty per cent since the beginning of the year.

But it was not always like that, in the later part of 2005 the price reached $37 per acre, but it was downhill from there and quickly the price fell to around $16 per acre but the climb back is underway with the prices touching $24 per acre.

The largest lunar landowners are the Germans, closely followed by the Swedes, English and the Poles.
