Moscow’s skyline has some familiar sights to it, but over the past couple of decades the view has seriously changed and it is about to change again, but this time it is going to be the worlds largest building that dominates the skyline in Moscow.

Crystal island is a wide based building that towers up to 1,500 feet tall, it will contain 900 apartments, 3000 hotel rooms, a school for 500 international students, cinemas, theatres, gyms, 16,500 under ground parking spaces and viewing platforms at the 980 feet level.

In total the building is around twenty seven million square feet in volume and will cost an estimated $4 billion to finish the project off completely which has been designed by Sir Norman foster.
